Johanna Pn designed this costume for Barrington Stage Company’s 2017 production of Bye Bye Birdie directed by Julianne Katz. This Costume was draped by Gwendolen Basala.
This dress is made from a low stretch knit with metallic threads. The bodice both flatlined and fashion lined to a light weight rayon. The skirt portion sports two slits and each layer is hemmed separately.The dress is made in a faux wrap style with a center back zipper. The front of the bodice is patterned in one to include the neck ties.
