Design and construction by Athene Wright.

This piece is an attempt to imitate stained glass in acrylic which is lighter and stronger than glass. The artwork is drawn from Alphonse Mucha’s series of paintings titled The Precious Stones. Athene designed the layout of the panels as well as deciding hole placement to facilitate their use in tiara construction. These images were laser cut into acrylic.
